During the month of October (my favorite!) I will be offering a combination of virtual and in-person gatherings this month.  I will be offering Sacred Sounds IN PERSON at Yoga Love of Honeoye Falls (4 Ontario Street), as well as IN PERSON Moon Circles and private sessions.  Studio gatherings are limited in size, so please pre-register to guarantee your spot.  For those of you who are out-of-state or home with remote learners, I encourage you to attend my VIRTUAL Monday Meditations for a quick tune-up.  All times are Eastern time zone and further details are listed below:

IN-PERSON:

FULL MOON FLOWER POWER {WOMEN’S CIRCLE}

Full Moon Flower Power Women’s Circle is a gathering that meets with me every month on the weekday closest to or on the Full Moon. For the first OCTOBER Full Moon we will meet IN PERSON on Thursday, October 1, 2020.  The time is 12:30-1:45 pm (though I sometimes run over).  This circle is for women 19 and older who are seeking conscious community.  I will hold a safe and sacred space for you to experience quiet connection. The Full Moon Flower Power Women’s Circle is a multi-sensory experience (different from the New Moon Women’s Circle) that includes gratitude practices, guided meditation, journaling, releasing, forgiveness practices, flower wisdom, and chakra sound bathing with my Crystal Tones Alchemy bowls.  I always construct a custom mandala on the floor for our gatherings, too.  The cost for this event is $25, which includes experiencing Lotuswei aura mists, anointing oils, and flower essences during class, plus gifts.  Please bring a journal, a water bottle and a yoga mat.  Masks are required.  I am unable to provide eye pillows during the current circumstances, but I can provide blankets that will be washed afterward.

SACRED SOUNDS {ALCHEMY SOUND BATH}

Experience the magic of a bespoke sound bath as I play my Crystal Tones Alchemy singing bowls.  Each session is unique and I bring different groupings of bowls every time.  All you have to do is show up and receive!  The cost is $18 per session and is for adults only.  Masks are required.  Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one.  I am unable to provide eye pillows during the current circumstances, but I can provide blankets that will be washed afterward.

{MONDAY MEDITATIONS}

I will be holding Monday Meditations via Zoom on the following dates:  September 28, October 5, October 19, October 26 at 11:00 am Eastern time (NY) which will last approximately 30-35 minutes.  These meetings include breathing exercises, guided meditations, Alchemy crystal bowl sounds, flower wisdom, and more.  To extend the benefit of meditation to everyone right now, I am providing these Monday Meditations on a DONATION BASIS.  Donations can be made on a sliding scale from $5 to $9 per class.  (Monday Meditations are VIRTUAL.  Please read the details for above for Sacred Sounds and Moon Circles if you would like to attend in-person events).

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

Please visit my children’s website, Firefly Friends, to learn about the classes I offer for helping little ones shine bright lights. I lead library programs with stories, songs, and crafts and I also offer children’s yoga classes at a Yoga Love of Honeoye Falls.  All children’s classes are currently on hold due to NY State social distancing guidelines.  Please stay tuned for updates.

Even amidst global turmoil, fear, and uncertainty, I’m finding beauty in my backyard.  The cycle of death and rebirth is revealing itself here in the month of August.  I may have spotted the last firefly of the season this weekend.  Yesterday I watched a cicada flap it’s wings for perhaps the final time.  There is a sense of loss, yes, but then there is always the birth of something new.  The song of the cicada is being replaced by the music of the crickets.  Sound waves have become a great source of comfort and healing for me this year, and I’m honored to be working with Alchemy crystal bowls during my classes now.  I invite you to join me for one of my moon circles or Monday Meditations during the month of August.  Each gathering is different and divinely guided.  For more information on how to attend one of my donation-based offerings, please visit my offerings page here.  Namaste.

In order to offer a safe space for women to experience conscious connection from home, I will continue to hold my women’s circles virtually.  This whole pandemic experience has been exhausting and stressful in so many ways.  My virtual offerings are meant to be a sacred refuge for you to replenish and come back to center.  While I offered two months of free gatherings, I am now moving to a donation-based system.  My intention is for this to honor the exchange of energy between us while also giving you some options based on your current financial situation.

Like meditation and yoga, my women’s circles are practices; they are not a religion.  These gatherings are meant to support you and give you a natural reference point during this disorienting time.  I’m here to help you see your light and let it shine.

Immediately following the Mindful Market, I am offering my Midday Mist and Meditation.  This class will last from 1:00-1:45pm on the same day, Wednesday, February 12, 2020.  This is a wonderful chance for you to experience a guided meditation with me paired with a variety of LOTUSWEI flower mists, followed by a live crystal bowl sound bath.  Cost is $15.  This class differs in length and content from the New Moon Flower Shower.  You can do both!  Mats and blankets will be provided for your use during the class.  Preregistration is not a requirement for this event as it is for the New Moon Flower Shower, but it is always nice to know how many are coming, so please email me at jenniferdevillecatalano[at]gmail[dot]com if you are interested.
